Revision 1.2 of the XTX Specification is available now

The XTX Consortium has released the XTX Specification Rev. 1.2

In this latest update the revision of the specification has been changed from Rev. 1.1 to Rev. 1.2 to reflect the addition of the newly defined signal PP_TM, Pin 60 of the X2 connector. This signal was formerly reserved for future use.

The PP_TM signal is the Physical Presence pin of Trusted Platform Module (TPM). It is active high. The TPM chip has an internal pull down. This signal is used to indicate Physical Presence to the TPM.

The implementation of this signal is a direct result of the ever increasing customer demand to protect security sensitive applications like gaming and e-commerce with improved authentication, integrity and confidence levels.
